17 Days of Fashion in Philly

Saturday was such an excited and scary day for me.

 I was ask to assist the lovely Erika (owner of Stiletto Network) in prepping the models face.
Stiletto Network is a umbrella with many many branches.
 One of them is a company that showcases fashion for full figure women along with uplifting and encouragement of self love.

This week kicked off the 17 days of Fashion in Philly. The show that I was assisting was one of first shows.

I was so nervous &excited to take part in such a event.
We arrived so we could set our equipment up & get started.

The foundation I used I had never used before."Black Radiance" is a brand exclusively for color women. This is a drug store brand but the coverage was perfect.

Purple Rain (Smokey Eye)

Tonight i have a date with my husband so i wanted to use a coloor that i have never used yet. even tho purpleish pink is one of my fav. colors. Well all shades of pinks are my favorite . Yes i am a true girly girl.
I have this wonderful eyeshadow palette that i purchased on ebay . I has a variety of colors the down side of is that i have to use a white base for the colors to be as bright as i like them.

Electric Blue Eyeshadow

Today was a family cookout. I got up early to get my clothes out & see what look I wanted for the day. Well for those who follow my YouTube channel (www.YouTube.com/thekittyspa) you know my closet is a mess clothes everywhere. So that was a task within itself. Overgarment laid out & ironed, now time to put my I choosen for today a pretty blue that match a color in my khimar(scarf). So here's the look...

66 Lip Gloss Palette

You know that I've received my items for my MakeUp Kit.

One of the items that I love is the 66 lip gloss palette. I had ordered this on eBay.com. It was $15.95 with FREE shipping (who doesnt love free shipping)so I was even more excited! LOL.

After opening the palette I was more than excited, I was satisfied. The glosses are creamy and long lasting. Of course I had to try them out immediately LOL. After eating and drinking the gloss was still on. Wow that's an A+ in my book.

Finally it has arrived!  My kit!

Eyebrow Grooming

I was asked to make a video showing and telling how i groom my eyebrows. LOL 
The funny thing is i do not have any eyebrows really. Mines are thin and just so happen that they are in a arch manner.What i do use on them is  Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in Clear. I brush them up with the mascara wand the smooth them over.LOL.Thats it !!!

Make Up Kit

As I lay here with a pen in one hand and a soda in the other. Writing then scratching out things that I THINK is necessary for My Kit. Googling different sits just to compare prices and shipping options

Makeup Artist On The Rise

FINALLY ! They came. I was surfing the net for some business cards that fit me. I saw many types and designs but none really stood out for me. My friend asked me if I tried VistaPrint.com .
They had so many to choose from I instantly got excited LOL.
I clicked on" BEAUTY" an tons of choices appeared. There was 3 I really liked.  So I chosen these.
Hope you guys like them as much as I do.

Hard Candy

How my mind works,a rainy day means Walmart day!  Yay!
It never fails I always seem to get the cart that's lump sided or wheels that go there own why. While gaining arm muscle trying to keep this cart straight & not run people toes over I slide down the cosmetic isle.
Yea even tho I was there for laundry detergent.
Now I don't know what female goes into a store & dnt look over at the cosmetic isle?.
I was looking for something that I hadn't tried.  My daughter was looking for a soft eyeliner and she called me over & there it was!.
Hard Candy mini kit called "Living Doll".
This kit includes a luminizer, blush and sheer envy face primer. The 2 tubes of liquid is only .40 oz that's how small and cute they are. The blush is a baked blush so it has little to none fall out it also has a hint of shimmer to give your cheeks a bit of glow.
Sooo ya know I have to give y'all a sneak peak of my new look well here it is!

New Foundation Routine

As you may know i love trying new products. For the past 3 months i have been using the same foundation Revlon Color Stay. My habbit of putting foundation on is with my fingers. I have been doing MY foundation this way since Umm... forever lol. While watching other MakeUp artist videos i've seen someone use a E.L.F Powder Brush to appy her foundation so i gave it a try.

Photo Day/ Try Out Day

Today I wanted to try out some new makeup I purchase at Tmart.com.
This site sells a bunch of everything but there makeup is very affordable. High quality and the eyeshadows are very bright & pigmented.
I got the 78 Color Professional Eyeshadow Palette. This palette was only $13.58 .U heard me ! $13.58 with free shipping. I will show  picture of it and a Before & after picture.
So after opening everything and controlling my excitement. I started using them here is the pictures.

Colorful Spring Look

At trip to the hair store getting a bunch of hair crap that I will never use. Upon going thru the variety of  nail Polish & there it was. Bright and calling my name. LOL
The colors are bright  and very pigmented so u do not have to apply a lot or worry about fall out while applying.
The eyeshadow brand is L.A Colors pallet is " Citrus ".

Today I finally received my eBay lashes. These lashes are a big rave on YouTube so I tried them out. 
They come in 10 pairs. Since I dnt really wear lashes Im trying the " Natural " look. Natural lashes are #063. So when or if you order lashes check out this seller;

Today as I was getting dress trying to find out what jewelry to wear. I came across a set I haven't wore in years. Since my blouse was plain white I decided to match my makeup with my earrings.  Here is the look ;

Revlon Color Stay Foundation

Well i try to give everyone a chance when it comes to foundations. So my new purchase is the Revlon Color Stay Foundation. I went to CVS to see what they had and found myself standing in one spot for a while trying to decied if i wanted to buy the Maybelline Fit Me in 320 or the Revlon color Stay . After going back & forth i brought the Color Stay.

The price was only $12 in my CVS it maybe a little cheaper in your store.
What I Like:
This product is not runny.
It has a very good consistency.
It is affordable.
It was MY exact Color.

Unique Hijabs Review

Unique Hijbs is a online store that sells Abays, Hijabs & accessories.
I can across this site just browsing this wonderful web and there it was, this nice site with a variety of scarves and pins.Their customer service was very nice and helpful but most of all their prices are AFFORDABLE !.

These are the 2 Hijabs that i recieved .
The first one is blue with flowers. The 2nd is LEPORAD print. Yes  my favorite.lol
